New five-year fibre contract increases total network Internet bandwidth.

 Cochrane, ON, CANADA (October 6, 2021) – Cochrane Telecom Services Inc. (CochraneTel), a subsidiary of EION Wireless, is proud to announce that it has upgraded its total network bandwidth by over 60%, which positions the company well for deploying fibre-to-the-home and will allow for increased speeds for urban and rural customers.

By signing a five-year contract with a leading fibre provider, CochraneTel is able to meet customer bandwidth speed expectations, thereby greatly improving their Internet and digital television experiences. This means that customers will receive more data, while at the same time experiencing a more efficient, faster service. The increase is part of CochraneTel’s network infrastructure upgrade plan to support both its urban and rural residents.
